Just a few months ago Ruslan's student Meagan Wu won First Prize and Judges Award of Distinction at the American Protege International Music Talent Competition in New York, followed by her debut performance at the Carnegie Hall. Within his teaching career of 15 years in Russia, Europe and United Sates his students delivered over 200 awards at the various music competitions. Ruslan's students regularly perform at some of the most prestigious venues and get accepted into the most successful universities, many of them are granted full scholarships. Mr. Biryukov's teaching success has its roots in the exceptional schooling he received from the Tchaikovsky State Moscow Conservatory and USC Thornton School of music. Among his teachers were legendary Eleonore Schoenfeld, Mstislav Rostropovich, Kirill Rodin, Natalia Gutman, Daniil Shafran.
