Great news! Ruslan Biryukov is the winner of the 17th Mu Phi Epsilon International Competition held on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at California State University, Sacramento. As a MPE Artist, Biryukov will perform with various orchestras under renowned conductors as well as in solo and duo recitals with his pianist Mary Au. Additionally, he will appear in numerous outreach projects and conduct master classes throughout the United States.

2. Redland Bowl Young Artist Audition – Andrea Yu (1st place, Junior Strings cello)
3. Torrance Symphony Concerto Competition – Margaret Zhou (Winner, Intermediate category)
4. Grossmont Community Concert Association Women’s Committee Instrumental Music Scholarship Audition – Margaret Zhou (Second place)
5. MTAC VOCE Competition State Finals – Margaret Zhou (3rd place, Senior Strings)
